“It is our first time participating at Cloud Expo Asia. I think what we were really excited was the crowd of 15,000 that was expected. It was a pretty good traffic for the first day, so there was a good stream of people coming over asking for solutions so I think that was good exposure and awareness for our brand and at the same time I think it’s a good connection between vendors to see if there are any future activities that we can collaborate on. I think the best for me so far was seeing the right audience, the IT decision makers from around SEA. We got to see the customers that we have been engaging with, and also others that are new to us. Our business model is different, more partner driven thus having presence at the expo reignited some relationship with customers that we haven’t really talked to.”
Joyce Neo, Marketing Manager, Adobe
“The audience at Cloud Expo Asia are those we intend to target, and are a good crowd for our company. It is a very good show that gave us the brand awareness we’re looking for. Not only are there Singapore customers, but there are also customers from surrounding Asian countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia and Japan"
Daisuke Katayama, Marketing Manager, KDDI Corporation
“The footfall at our stand has definitely been positive and we have gathered a lot of interest. We have spoken to lots of decision makers, as well as engineers who are very important to our business! We are more than happy to be part of the show next year.”
Nikunj Vora, Director, Qubole
“As a participant for Big Data World this year, we felt that the crowd was good. The conference theatres helped with the traffic to the booth. Overall, this event helped in generating awareness and publicity for Starhub.”
Rachel Soh, Associate Marketing Director, Starhub
“Our sales team are very happy with the attendance turnout. The visitors are looking for solutions and they are good leads for us to expand our network and find out their needs whether it matches. Many of engineers who visited us are very knowledgeable and they can highly influence the purchase decision. The conference alongside helped with generating leads. The co-located events attracted different IT professionals which broadened the audience and see more traffic than at similar events in the region.”
Claire Hsu, Marketing Manager, Lilee Systems
“We saw a decent amount of people visiting our booth, including the VIPs we have invited. Organisation of the overall event was really good, and well-managed. There are a lot of exhibitors and visitors at the show.”
Amit Raj Bathla, VP & Head of Marketing, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise
“We’ve seen a good quality crowd at this event and they are mostly decision-makers. ASME is well known in the industry and we cover most needs that companies are looking for and they know what they want when they approach us. We’ll definitely be interested in coming back next year. It’s a good networking event, and members who we invited popped by our booth and found the event pretty good and the conference topics interesting.”
Sabrina Wee, Assistant Manager, ASME
“The vendors are well represented and delegates seem open to come over to chat and ask questions. The show’s visitors are also interested in asking for our (Crest) services and are quite aware of Crest. It’s good that the quality of visitors are relevant and are either Crest certified or interested in getting certified by Crest. There are quite a few good speakers around and I hope to be able to catch more of the conference sessions tomorrow."
James Cooper, Business Development Manager, NCC Group (Crest)
